To help the Azzurri Group see what was really happening at their restaurants our Cloud team installed Mindsett PRISM® devices across multiple sites. This enabled us to monitor assets across several separate categories.

This trial included Azzurri’s  Zizzi Brighton restaurant, which was the subject of a large-scale project to overhaul their lighting.

As a result of installing Cloud’s Mindsett PRISM® device at Zizzi Brighton, there were several key outcomes, including:

Gaining full visibility of each asset’s energy consumption. With this information, teams at each of the restaurants can actively work towards reducing their consumption, in turn reducing their carbon emissions.

Accurate reporting on the ROI of a project. Prior to the overhaul of the lighting system at Zizzi Brighton, which involved switching to energy efficient LED lighting indoors, Mindsett PRISM® gathered data that showed the site was consuming 109 kWh on indoor lighting alone. Previously they would not have been able to single out energy consumption by asset. At the time,this would have amounted to one single asset class, consuming £18.50 per week, £963.50 over the course of a year.

Following the lighting overhaul, thanks to the asset-level insights delivered by Mindsett PRISM®, Zizzi Brighton were able to report that as a direct result of the lighting project they had reduced that asset class’ energy consumption by 33 kWh. This represents a saving of £5.60 per week, or just under £300 per year, from a single asset class at just one restaurant location.

After installing the unique Mindsett PRISM® IoT technology, they can now see real-time energy consumption right down to the individual asset and can fully prove the return on investment of any projects relating to their key assets.
